*Your pup will come to you bathed, nails clipped, wormed and her ears checked and trimmed. where possible
 * We have been feeding her/him Woolworths  puppy (food tinned) , and raw fresh chicken necks
  *We fed her/him twice a day about 8.30 am and about 5pm
  *You probably know this, but I am required by law to tell you how to look after him/her easier to write it all down incase I forget something ;
 * Please continue to feed your puppy twice a day for around 6 weeks then once a day is enough
  * You will need to clean her/his ears to prevent a mite that silkys are prone to.The  Ear cleaning solution I use is from Big W for about $10. You can also get some from the vets if you prefer and clean them out every so often as you do your own, their ears are an L shape so you wont go to far in unless you really force
it.
 * Also you need to trim the hair out of her/his eyes, and off her/his ears for her/his ears to stand up properly, a small amount of hair is a huge weight to their ears and will stop them growing standing upright
* Bath her/him no more than once a week as his/her skin will dry out. You can brush her as much
as you like though
  * Be careful of fishponds and pools that she/he doesn't drown
  * Worm your puppy regularly according to the directions
* Do not give your puppy milk unless it is a lactose free one or pet one as they can get a upset stomach
 * Have a fresh supply of water at all times, she/he will love to chew on things. they teeth constantly for twelve months
* Lebanese bread is good and she/he will love chewing your old toilet rolls to pieces, sticks and toys, raw chicken and brisket bones are ok, never cooked bones as she/he teeths
* Please do not feed your puppy a diet of only tinned food as it will suffer from gastric and teeth problems as it sticks to their teeth
* Your puppy will probably cry for the first few nights away from mum, a ticking clock can help also something to cuddle up with,  even a hot water bottle can help in the colder climate
 *Your puppy will need a booster vaccination in at least two months time and every twelve months to prevent distemper and parvo etc
 * Do not let her eat Chocolate, sultana, grapes, or onions as these are toxic to dogs and can make them sick or kill them
* Let me know if you have any questions at any stage
